This rock musical follows Tara and Harry, a couple who go to Chicago to protest the 1968 Democratic Convention. But trouble stirs, as Harry is encouraged to go down a violent path by an angry protest leader, Abe. Meanwhile, Tara’s hopeful message of peace and love can’t seem to reach anyone. The film not only reflects history, but also our current divided, political climate. Ultimately, it sends the message that we can all do things to better our country, no matter who's running the government.
